王載沒有進過神學院，也沒有接受過傳統的神學訓練，他之所以能成為出色的佈道家，是因為他一生研經不斷，數十年如一日。他的弟弟回憶說：「他（王載）一生得力之處，是在於他愛慕聖經，如渴鹿愛慕溪水！誦讀之餘，晝夜思想。」 他為自己立下了一個規矩，就是「未讀聖經，不進早餐」，因為他看神口中的言語重於他所需用的飲食，所以他決定先進靈糧，然後才飲食。

王載 (1898.3.26 – 1975.12.13)，福建福州人，出生於一個非基督徒家庭。1915年進入煙台海軍學校就讀，畢業後成為一名海軍軍官。1916年，王載與基督徒潘少容結婚，在南京參加名牧高師竹（貴格會）、賈玉銘（長老會）及孫喜聖等的查經班。1920年1月19日，王載於廈門鼓浪嶼海邊受浸。1921年，王載閱讀舊約《以賽亞書》52章11節，以此作為蒙呼召作傳道人的憑據，於是辭去江貞艦大副職務，專門傳道。

王載的讀經習慣：

• 每日讀 10 章聖經：新舊約各 2 章、5 篇詩篇、1 章箴言。
• 每月讀完詩篇和箴言各 1 遍；每年讀完舊約 1 遍，新約 3 遍。
• 王載一生讀過舊約至少 59 遍，新約 163 遍；《詩篇》和《箴言》超過 513 遍。
• 無論去什麼地方，總隨身帶一本聖經或新約全書；有空閑的時候可以拿出來閱讀；常把神的話放在隨手可拿到的地方。

It’s one thing to submit for common health, and another for common wealth. It’s one thing for humanity, and another for economy, especially by sacrificing humanity.

The question we need to ask ourselves is that are we submitting to the authorities or to our own desires? Are we boasting in the Lord or boasting in our presence in the building? Are we being bold for God or testing God?

If the coronavirus is a rod in the hands of God, it’s not a time to be bold. It’s a time to repent for our pride.
