The Existence of Evil

Evil is never good, but the existence of evil can be good when it’s used to accomplish the will of God. Affliction is good when it humbles us to God.
The existence of evil is good when it restrains our evil. If there’s anything that can hinder God from using us, it’s not Satan, and it’s not the environment; it’s our pride.

Wisdom

Wisdom is knowing what’s good and evil. The fear of God is the beginning of knowing what’s good and evil in God’s eyes. In order to know what’s good and evil to God, we need to know God, and the way to know God is to know God in Christ.
智慧是能分別善惡。敬畏上帝是知道上帝眼中之善惡的開端。若我們要知道上帝的善惡觀，我們需先認識上帝，而認識上帝的道路就是在基督里認識祂。

God’s Sovereignty in Election

A judge owes justice in courtroom, but he is free with his money. So, God is just in judgment, but He is free with His mercy. (Rom. 9:15; Matt. 20:15)
一個法官在法庭上需要公正，但他可以自由地使用自己的金錢。同樣，上帝對罪人的審判是公正的，但祂有主權如何使用祂的憐憫。

羅馬書 9:15
上帝對摩西說：“我要憐憫誰就憐憫誰，要恩待誰就恩待誰。”

馬太福音 20:15
“我的東西難道不可隨我的意思用嗎？因為我做好人，你就紅了眼嗎？”
