王载没有进过神学院，也没有接受过传统的神学训练，他之所以能成为出色的布道家，是因为他一生研经不断，数十年如一日。他的弟弟回忆说：「他（王载）一生得力之处，是在于他爱慕圣经，如渴鹿爱慕溪水！诵读之余，昼夜思想。」 他为自己立下了一个规矩，就是「未读圣经，不进早餐」，因为他看神口中的言语重于他所需用的饮食，所以他决定先进灵粮，然后才饮食。

王载 (1898.3.26 – 1975.12.13)，福建福州人，出生于一个非基督徒家庭。1915年进入烟台海军学校就读，毕业后成为一名海军军官。1916年，王载与基督徒潘少容结婚，在南京参加名牧高师竹（贵格会）、贾玉铭（长老会）及孙喜圣等的查经班。1920年1月19日，王载于厦门鼓浪屿海边受浸。1921年，王载阅读旧约《以赛亚书》52章11节，以此作为蒙呼召作传道人的凭据，于是辞去江贞舰大副职务，专门传道。

王载的读经习惯：

• 每日读 10 章圣经：新旧约各 2 章、5 篇诗篇、1 章箴言。
• 每月读完诗篇和箴言各 1 遍；每年读完旧约 1 遍，新约 3 遍。
• 王载一生读过旧约至少 59 遍，新约 163 遍；《诗篇》和《箴言》超过 513 遍。
• 无论去什么地方，总随身带一本圣经或新约全书；有空闲的时候可以拿出来阅读；常把神的话放在随手可拿到的地方。

It’s one thing to submit for common health, and another for common wealth. It’s one thing for humanity, and another for economy, especially by sacrificing humanity.

The question we need to ask ourselves is that are we submitting to the authorities or to our own desires? Are we boasting in the Lord or boasting in our presence in the building? Are we being bold for God or testing God?

If the coronavirus is a rod in the hands of God, it’s not a time to be bold. It’s a time to repent for our pride.
