马国栋 牧师 在北美念布道学的时候看到一篇文章，借此互勉：

岸上满是鱼钩，海里群鱼也很饥饿，渔夫们却在岸上一直开大会小会、国际性会议，讨论有关钓鱼的方法——如何吸引鱼群、了解鱼群特性、探讨捕鱼的策略等。这些『渔夫』始终没有去钓鱼。渐渐的，他们也发展了『钓鱼学系』，教导学生怎样去钓，这些学生虽然很欣赏前辈捕鱼的理论，但也只是停留在『欣赏』而没有去钓鱼。鱼开始有饿死的，渔夫们知道这是非常时期，但仍在焦急的在研讨方法，终于有一位学生忍不住尝试用一些所学到的简单方法去钓，果然钓了几尾小鱼，大家都非常惊讶，极其欣赏他的成就，因此就邀请他到大小会议中分享，巡回训练，慢慢地他也没空去钓鱼了。

Evil is never good, but the existence of evil can be good when it’s used to accomplish the will of God. Affliction is good when it humbles us to God.

The existence of evil is good when it restrains our evil. If there’s anything that can hinder God from using us, it’s not Satan, and it’s not the environment; it’s our pride.

Wisdom is knowing what’s good and evil. The fear of God is the beginning of knowing what’s good and evil in God’s eyes. In order to know what’s good and evil to God, we need to know God, and the way to know God is to know God in Christ.

智慧是能分别善恶。敬畏上帝是知道上帝眼中之善恶的开端。若我们要知道上帝的善恶观，我们需先认识上帝，而认识上帝的道路就是在基督里认识祂。
