箴言 21:2-3
人所行的，在自己眼中都看為正，惟有耶和華衡量人心。
行仁義公平，比獻祭更蒙耶和華悅納。

耶和華看中了亞伯和他的供物；
只是看不中該隱和他的供物。(創世記 4:4b-5a)

亞伯因着信，獻祭與神，比該隱所獻的更美。(希伯來書 11:4a)

人非有信，就不能得神喜悅。(希伯來書 11:6)
信心若沒有行為是死的。(雅各書 2:17)

亞伯信神，行仁義公平，比獻祭更蒙耶和華悅納。
亞伯蒙神悅納首先是因為他的人，然後才是祭物。

亞伯的祭物蒙神悅納是因為他的人。
該隱的祭物不蒙悅納也是因為他的人。
所以，神對該隱說：”你若行得好，豈不蒙悅納？”

亞伯也是罪人。(羅馬書 3:23)
亞伯稱義是因着信。(希伯來書 11:4)
亞伯的信心是神所賜的。(以弗所書 2:8-9)
神在創世之前就揀選了亞伯。(以弗所書 1:4)
亞伯的人蒙悅納是因為神的恩典和揀選。

神揀選了亞伯，沒有揀選該隱。
亞伯和該隱的唯一分別是神的恩典。
神並沒有因為該隱沒有信心而定他的罪，而是因着他的行為。
基督徒和非基督徒的唯一分別也是神的恩典。
罪人得救是因為神的恩典。
罪人滅亡卻是因為自己的罪。

揀選沒有不公平，因為神不是罪人的父。(約翰福音 8:41-44)
犯罪的是屬魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪。(約翰一書 3:8)
神是人的創造主。(創世記 1:27)
罪人應該得到的是神的憤怒和審判。(詩篇 7:11)

唯有在耶穌基督里，我們才不是罪人。(歌羅西書 1:14)
唯有在神的兒子裡面，我們才是神的兒女。(加拉太書 3:26)

1) Sinners can never know God unless God reveals to them.

2) In God’s revelation, we still cannot FULLY know God because He is infinite, but we can know God in the ways He tells us.

3) We can know God in two ways: look at the universe (God’s creation) and read the Bible (God’s words).

4) The Creation tells us there is a Creator. The Bible tells us who God is (holy, love, etc.) and who we are (sinners), and what is the salvation (Jesus Christ).

5) As we read the Bible. It tells us there is ONLY ONE God; and the Father is God; and Jesus is God; and the Holy Spirit is God. Then the Father is not the Son, and the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. Instead of saying so many definitions, we use the term “Trinity”.

6) Our fallen logic and reasoning contradicts with the doctrine of the Trinity, but it is indeed the revelation of the Bible. For example, in Isaiah 45:21b-22, God says:

“There is no other God besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides me. Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”

“our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13)
“our God and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:1)
