“改革宗信仰并不是宗派性神学，而是不断改革归正、回归圣经、精益求精的运动。当人起初受造的时候，都是 ‘按照上帝的形象受造’ 的 (formed in the image of God)；当人犯罪堕落的时候，这一形象就 ‘受到了罪的扭曲’ (deformed by the sin of the fall)；当人重生的时候，上帝就 ‘在基督里通过圣灵的大能重新创造了我们’ (reformed in the heart in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit) 。”
